Constantly tethered old attachments, old expectations and old validations. What’s the obligation? Some old history? unresolved relationship? The person you were meant to be? That time you made that much money... Unsatisfied and complacent Co-parenting Co-dependent rotations Rinse Repeat A history that haunts No Attachments Unwant Validation with creation Same energy, new self Exactly who one’s meant be & there’s time to make more money But dissatisfaction is no pacifier And no pacifiers, no rings Sovereignty and self Rinse And rise Same place Same time He stares She sighs Something feels familiar But also brand new Everything he’s not Something she forgot Time stops Maybe for a second A moment Never as long as you wanted Then, something changes I have to [insert obligation] Phone calls without hesitation With others, you don't see the same trepidation He said, I need this everyday To ashamed of what to say He lives for yesterday She could but won't compete Life too present, to be discrete She just leaves Misaligned Mislead Missed
